Extended Warranty Terms & Conditions

We offer an optional Extended Warranty for mobility scooters and powerchairs purchased directly from us. This warranty provides an additional 1, 2, or 3 years of cover beyond the original manufacturer's warranty period and includes one full service during the extended warranty term.

Eligibility

To qualify for an Extended Warranty, the cover must be purchased no later than 2 months before the expiry date of the original warranty supplied with your mobility aid.

Extended Warranty cover is only available for products originally purchased directly from us and must remain continuously covered by the original manufacturer's warranty at the time of purchase.

Please note: Certain components are excluded from this warranty extension (see Exclusions section below).

What's Included

The Extended Warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults resulting from workmanship under normal intended use.

If a covered fault occurs during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the defective component at our discretion.

The Extended Warranty also includes one full service, carried out at our workshop during the warranty period. This service includes a comprehensive inspection of the scooter's key mechanical and electrical components.

If any components that are not covered by the warranty require replacement during the service, the cost of those parts will be charged separately.

Workshop Repairs & Transportation

All repairs and servicing under this warranty must be carried out at our workshop.

Transportation of the scooter to and from our workshop is the responsibility of the customer. Collection, recovery, and transportation costs are not included within the warranty cover.

To minimise the risk of transit damage, scooters should be returned in their original packaging whenever possible.

Exclusions

The following items are not covered under the Extended Warranty:

- Batteries (considered consumable items)

- Tyre punctures and inner tubes

- Motor brushes

- Electromagnetic brakes

- Lights, bulbs, and lighting components

- Cosmetic damage, scratches, dents, and general wear and tear

- Damage caused during transportation to or from our workshop

If any excluded components require replacement during the included service, they will be charged separately.

Important Terms

- The Extended Warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and cannot be transferred to another owner.

- The warranty applies only to faults arising from normal, intended use.

- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, accidents, impact damage, water ingress, improper storage, unauthorised modifications, or third-party repairs is not covered.

- Proof of purchase must be provided when making a claim.

- We reserve the right to inspect the product before approving any warranty claim.

- Replacement parts supplied under warranty do not extend or renew the original warranty period.

Our Extended Warranty is designed to provide additional protection and confidence long after the original warranty period has ended.

Shipping & Returns

We dispatch all orders on the same day if they are placed before 1:00 pm. We use the FedEx Priority service, which is designed for next working day delivery.

If you place your order on a Friday, you will most likely receive it on Monday. However, in some areas FedEx may deliver on Saturday as well, depending on the local delivery driver and depot.

We accept returns within 14 days for a full refund. The item must be in brand-new condition and returned in its original packaging.

Please contact our Dispatch Department, quoting your order number, and let us know that you wish to return the item, together with the reason for the return.

Once we receive your request, we will provide you with full instructions on how to proceed and arrange a courier collection for you.

VAT Relief

The advertised price of this item is exclusive of VAT as this product is eligible for VAT relief. VAT has not been added to the price of this product. This is inline with the VAT relief available on products designed or adapted for use as mobility aids. To qualify for VAT relief on this purchase, the intended user of this item must have a disability, long term illness or chronic medical condition.
